I recently went in for a dental check up following a persistent toothache and found out that I need a root canal. I don't know why the doctor(s) wasn't able to detect an early cavity during my last visit in February 2011. I doubt that any of the doctors/hygienists at Newton Dental Associates has ever examined my teeth thoroughly. I don't think I would have needed a root canal today had there been an early cavity detection and a thorough dental examination.
