I told Dr. Hoenig I needed to get my feet working properly, before the inevitable joint replacements I will face later in life. When an MRI came back negative, and I had adverse reactions to injections, he didn't know what else to do. I have several different pains. The most serious is at the insertion point for the peroneus brevis. I also have pain across the top of my foot, two finger widths below the ankle. These are specific pains. June 2017 I saw Dr. Sylvester who told me when he cut out my ingrown toe nails he only treated the sides of my nails so that they would grow back out without the sides. Well I’m disappointed to say that was not the case. One of the only grew a small, very small piece back. It’s horrible! I love to wear sandals! He gave me a steroid injection into my plantar facia.
