Went for restaurant week. Booking it was great and the hostess was super accommodating. Food was great but since it was family style we had to all agree (5 of us) on each course including our dessert. Service was not great, waters were almost never refilled, had to go to the bar and get our own pitcher. Would go again but maybe not during restaurant week. Also it was a birthday, as we had put in the reservation, but nothing was done.
Second time here. Loved the food and great service. I do recommend. My only complaint is I sat by the windows on a cold Chicago night. I was fine at first as there was a heat vent blowing above me but at some point it turned off and I was frozen (especially every time the door opened). I wore my jacket throughout dinner.
Not terrible, but not great. So many better tapas restaurants in the city, even in the west loop.
The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Wow what a meal. Try the spinach cigars and the goat cheese, you will not be disappointed. Great spot, beautiful ambiance, kind wait staff. great dining experience.
We attended for restaurant week. The food was good, but with the 8 course sampling menu we had multiple dishes brought out at a time and out of order. Highly recommend the gnocchi, it was fantastic.
It was Chicago Restaurant Week. We were a party of four. It appeared our server was also the hostess and bartender. She forgot our drinks through out dinner. We asked her what selections she suggested - she said "They're all good" and walked away. She was gruff at best. The food runner was great and we were thankful for her. It was a very cold night and the door kept getting held open as large parties would stand in the doorway so it was freezing. Most of us and the tables around us dined with our coats on. But - as always -... read more
Great food, customer service, and music! I will be back, amazing experience!
We had an early dinner before seeing a show down the street at The City Winery. Service was excellent and very friendly in an intimate setting. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend the beef tenderloin brochette. The owner could not have been nicer. We will definitely return!
Nia far exceeded expectations. Antonia was very helpful and her recommendations were all excellent: the Nia salad, scallops, beef tenderloin, grilled mushrooms, spinach rolls and dessert of bread pudding with Gelato and a drizzle of carmel. Plus, the Greek wine was exquisite. We will be returning. An ideal place to go before a show at City Winery. Enjoy!
