It was great working with Nic through the process of getting a mortgage. He spent quite a while with me early in the process, explaining the options and learning my unique situation, all while not knowing if we'd choose his company for our mortgage. He was very detailed and was able to translate "mortgage financial" speak into casual speak for me to clearly understand. I want to preface this by saying we did close on time, and the rate we got was very good (though I don't think it was the best). Nic started out amazing. He is very knowledgeable with finances, and he helped me understand the pros and cons of different rates and down payments, which wound up changing my mind for the better. Nic was pleasant and responsive, but there were multiple instances of miscommunication to our detriment. We would be told one thing and it would change on paper or a change would not be made, and Nic didn’t seem to understand his role in that. I appreciate the hustle but the experience became extremely stressful for us.
