I came to house sit for my daughter in Spring, Texas. I noticed the back flow preventer was leaking, possibly damaged during the freeze. I remembered hearing about Nick's Plumbing and A/C from a radio show and I called them. A technician was out within a few hours and had everything repaired. His name was Valton Povataj and he was very nice efficient with his work. Thank you for getting this repaired to save on my daughters water bill.
Our tech did a thorough review of our two AC/Heater units. Laid out all the issues. A good tech will, and they will range from replacements of equipment past design life to parts not working the way they should. A discerning customer will make decisions about what they really need for the level of reliability they are comfortable with. Our tech was not pushing anything on us and the few repairs we authorized were done well and quickly. We had a gas leak in our fireplace line. We thought it had been fixed by a previous company, but started smelling gas again, so we wanted a second opinion. Called Nick's and it was a much better experience. They found the issue quickly and repaired it properly, unlike the first company, who had used a flexible line that cracked within a week. Nick's Plumbing provided excellent service when they installed my new water heater today. My installer, Neil Young, and his assistants are really pleasant guys and their work was above average. Neil explained everything he did and he patiently answered all of my questions. When the job was complete, they thoroughly cleaned up the work area. From start to finish, I was very impressed with everything about Nick's Plumbing.
We needed a plumber on Saturday Easter weekend. Nobody else was available, but Nicks Plumbing was able to send somebody out within the hour for reasonable charge to replace a leaky water heater pipe. Thank you
