On March 30, 2011 I had occassion to bring my 2010 Nissan 370Z into the Midland Nissan ealership for a scheduled oil change and 1 year maintenance checkup. While waiting in the showroom, I began talking with Fred Watson as to an unpleasant experience with the Roger's Ford Dealership the week before, asi I had considered trading the Z , and an '05 Titan for a vehicle on the Roger's Ford lot. I was insulted when the U/C Manager appraised the Z car at 22,000.! I BET HE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE Z CAR FOR 22,000.00 ! Fred simply asked why I wanted to sell the "Z" and inquired what I wanted to purchase. Within two hours, Fred showed me at least 7 vehicles on line, 4 used vehicles on the lot, and then WOWED me with the "killer punch" being the 2011 "Heavy Metal" Titan. We worked the deal according to what I desired for a payment (within 26.00) including all the perks. Fred's "can-do" attitude conveyed a feeling of confidence to me, in that he really cares about his customers. Fred represented Nissan extremely well and was knowledgeable about his product. I would recommend that Fred be a mentor to new sales staff trainees, if there is a need.
Dallas Metcalfe arranged the financing etc and sealed the deal. He too had confidence in his job and passed that on to me, even though I've bought at least 15 vehicles in my life.
I'm sold completely on the Nissan Titan line of trucks. The price, and options are very important to me; however, being treated with respect and staff concerns with respect to my needs were the factors I consider most important. I have only been a customer of Midland Nissan about a year, but I was made to "feel appreciated" and as a tenured customer. Kudos to Fred and Dallas for a job well done and I will certainly refer those I know to be looking for a new or used vehicle directly to them.
