I just want to thank North Scottsdale retreat for their amazing care. They have give our grandma since she’s been there. The stuff is amazing. We see how they are with all the residents they treat them all like family Every time we go to visit it’s clean all the residents are up and dressed. You can tell they really care about their job and just how they run their house. North Scottsdsle Retreat - is a very clean, warm, loving home. The staff are all very caring from the Manager-[name removed] to all of the caregivers. Everyone works very hard to meet all of the residents needs and requests. I highly recommend [name removed] to anyone looking to place their loved one in North Scottsdale.

There have been a lot of changes over the last 6 months and I have to say I was worried at first but with my dads dementia being as severe as it is I had to just wait things out. I have to give credit where credit is due. The Manager [name removed] has made a lot of promises from day one and has not let us down. Probably the hardest decision I have ever made was to place my dad in assisted living. The team at NSR now is a refreshing change. Caring, involved and good at what I imagine is a very difficult job. As the family member I really appreciate the care and communication I and my dad receive. Thanks to [name removed] and her team.

I would tell others that the staff is phenomenal, loving, and caring. They are just as concerned about the families as they are for the residents. Due to health conditions we requested some restrictions and dietary changes. We ended up having to bring our own diabetic materials down for them to use. They are perfect for those who just needs an eye to watch out for them. They are lacking in the additional medical care needed.

During covid the activities were amazing. They planted raised gardens made birdhouses and did a lot of outside activities. They provided a family-like atmosphere, they were warm understanding, and very friendly I would absolutely recommend this community to others

The caregivers at North Scottsdale Retreat cared for our mother with kindness, compassion, professional expertise and thoughtfulness. They went above and beyond their "job" and treated her as one of their own. We are so grateful and appreciative of their work.

We think they took on a little more with our loved one then what they had equipped and ready. He was diabetic and they didn't have the dietary restrictions they should of had. When we got there he was still walking in a walker, and within two days he was in a wheel chair and was wheel chaired bound the rest of the time. From a nursing stand point he went downhill so fast. It was a lovely and beautiful place, we just thought he could of used a little more care. The staff was so loving, and wonderful towards our family.
