Why is the membership meeting not posted any where in the website? I was told by another member that just happened to find out about it, that there would be a meeting this Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 am. Guess we will all show up to see if management is willing to discuss the changes in policies.
The reviews you look at are people or their children who have lease sites there who can't be moved .of course they write nice reviews .kids would because they like to hang out while their parents are drinking .the police have been called on way to many occasions to the park ,because of drunken adults who are not watching their children,and their security is an older man who has lots of health issues. The pictures of the park model cabin are deceiving to say the least. The website shows a nice wood sided cabin with a loft and front porch decorated nicely inside. Once you get there, you find yourself in a dump. Old TV's, and appliances with rust on them, no room to move around the beds in the bedrooms, the toilets are not even bolted down, wallpaper on the pocket doors for the bathrooms is peeling off the doors. Since I'm unable to speak with anyone or receive a call back here goes.....we arrived to a cabin" (small trailer) rather than a caboose as we had requested...our "lake view" that we requested was past a parking lot over a hill...the beds were worse than sleeping on a floor and ants were so bad that when we returned from going to the pool (that was closed) our food & things were all taken over by ants. We left at the crack of dawn....yet to hear back from anyone. Smh....needless to say we do not recommend North Shores Resort ... read more
This place isn't what you think- Resort, hardly!!! It's a dump run by mentally ill managers. Its in poor condition to say the least. I was here not by choice and there was an all out brawl and one of the managers was in this brawl. The majority of the people that live here are drunks. Its more like a glorified trailer park because it is located on Lake Oconee. On any given day there is trash everywhere and the docks are in poor rotten condition. Beware!!!!!
i have called 5 times & all i get is a voice mail left 2 messages & no call back! not sure what is going on there, but a call back would be nice!
