RecommendedThey are very helpful and it didn’t take long to get a heart worm test and a blood panel done. The vet called that afternoon when the blood work came back. It was a good experience.
They were friendly. Chezina my African Grey Parrot even liked them. When she got in the car she was doing her happy noises and humming a little to the music. Hope she keeps up the less plucking when she under the covers to stop plucking all together.😍
While all the veterinarians are most helpful, Dr McLendon has been our Veterinarian for years. Recently, due to fostering some rescue pups, I’ve been to the shelter’s veterinarians of choice. This finally opened my eyes to why the professionals at NSAH are the absolute best. They see the whole dog. If my pup visits for a specific issue, they look beyond that one issue and see the whole dog. Holistic veterinarian care is what makes NSAH and Dr McLendon stand far above the ordinary.

07-31-2021 Update…when we were out of town one of our babies had a medical emergency while boarding. This was a known problem and not an unexpected issue. Dr Mac took fantastic care of our baby. I made the decision to let her go and sweet Harley was her momma for her passing. I would not have trusted any other clinic to take such good care of her and us also.
