Very disappointed! I’ve been a customer here for over 10 years, in recent years it has gone severely downhill after transfer of ownership. Dr. Lester has always been amazing but when he sold the business I was transferred to a new vet on site without anyone consulting me. I consistently seem to see a different person. For not taking a blood test they killed my best friend. Not over for them and there dam steroids.
First of all the women Melissa they have answering the phones and dealing with customer service is the most miserable person I have ever had to deal with. She clearly does not have very much experience in customer service and is very rude and unpleasant to have to speak with. They have been charging me 70$ per month for pain management for my dog for months when come to find out I could get the generic version for 20$!!! The same exact meds just cheaper. Unfortunately I would not recommend Northern Lakes. Have been a client of theirs for 16 years and they treated my daughter unprofessionally today when she went in with her seizing puppy. Basically turning her away. A 16 year old going in scared & upset with a seizing year old beagle. They told her she would have to pay before treatment! Seriously not OK! I always thought pets as family, guess money to them is more important than a pets life!! I am beyond disappointed & disgusted in their actions!!
Extremely disappointed with my interaction with Northern Lakes Veterinary Hospital; inc today. Although not my current vet - Dr. Don and I have a fairly long history, all positive: He was the vet for many of my childhood horses for many years and my first adulthood dog, he also employed my sister for several years. My family loves their professional staff and caring nature. The neighbors really should just move. I don't understand why you would buy a house next to a Vet Hospital. I don't believe their story of all these dogs barking...they are the only ones to complain.
