The first time we (Sellers) and our agent had any communication about closing was at 1:45 pm the day before closing - scheduled for 10 am the following day. Further, the closing coordinator (without inquiring) mistakenly assumed we would be available to come to closing. We had moved 4 states away 3 months before closing. This happened during our busy work weeks - my husband and myself. We had no paperwork, electronic signing was not initially offered, and Fedex pick up is 3 pm in our new location. Documents provided to support the title commitment exceptions were incomplete or illegible, and an updated copy of the commitment document were not available at the closing so I could verify it the promised deletions were made. I was told I would get a copy in the mail in a few weeks. The actual closing went very smoothly, but the process of getting to that closing took a lot of work on my part that should not have been necessary.
