I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction eval and was given a brochure about the procedure and what to expect, saw the doctor for a total of 2 minutes. The secretary then gave me a write up the costs of the procedure which were around $5000. At this time i was told i needed to pay up front before the procedure and i couldn’t use my HSA to pay.
