RecommendedHonestly, there are some great Mexican food choices in st. Pete but this one stands out! You can tell that every ingredient is fresh and prepared daily, I haven't had anything that I don't want to eat again. Service is amazing as well. Worth the tiny little detour south of downtown, you'll keep coming back I promise!
If you are looking for a "Not so typical" Mexican Restaurant this is your place. Great food and service. The owner is very involved overseeing daily operation and really cares. So check this place out!

i had the Carne Asada and it was delicious. If I were the chef I would give my best friend a discount on the salsa, but I would not share that recipe with anyone! Amazing. Our server was good and on top of things. Things were slow coming out but that may have been because we were there late. We were also half drink and obnoxious so we may have scared them away.
All the things we tried were delicious. The salsa is addicting. Prices are good but just wish the portions were a tiny bit larger. Rice and beans that came as a side were very good but the amount was about a 1/4 cup of rice with about a tablespoon of refried beans on top. I would have given the 5 stars had the portions been more of the dinner size vs a lunch size.
