Dr. Jill had to do a root canal surgery for me 6 months ago. I thought root canals were supposed to hurt. At least according to everyone else I know that had one. It didn't hurt at all or afterwards and I did not take anything other than what the over the counter advil (or tylenol) was given at the office. I went back to work that afternoon with NO PAIN. Dr. Jill does an amazing job and is great with her patients.
All the dentists and hygienists are very nice. However, I got the impression that they were doing more work than necessary. After a lifetime of zero cavities, at Perfect Smiles I suddenly needed 3 or 4 fillings every 6 months. Several of the fillings they put in cracked and fell out within a year. I can't say enough about how nice they were, but I have serious doubts about their integrity, and serious complaints about the quality of work.
My 7 yr old dtr & I both had endo. surgery here (root canal), and were left with infections, which were SEALED inside our teeth! Both of us have had repeated tooth pain, jaw pain, swollen gums, throat infections, headaches, and fevers - caused by the trapped decay & infection. I only found out how bad it was, when my sealant popped out & the tooth pain and swelling disappeared entirely after lots of brushing & antiseptic rinse.
