Oak Island Accommodations/Rentals at the Beach has gotten too big for its own good. Consider ANY other rental company. Try Margaret Rudd, Better Beach Rentals, Coastal Vacation Rentals, or Salt and Sand Realty. After booking for Christmas week in January, we were called in November and told their “system” wasn’t working at the time and our dates needed to be changed. I arranged a long-term, 6-month rental of a ‘patio home’ at Caswell Dunes through Oak Island Accommodations in good faith as I am moving to Southport and waiting for my townhome to be completed. I arrived to find an unkempt, poorly maintained and extremely dirty property. The condition of the ‘home’, its yard and its contents are disgraceful.
