Recommended3/21 My German Shepard had and emergency while visiting Asbury Beach .Off duty police officer referred me to Oakhurst. Staff and Dr. Melissa Reggio provided spectacular service. 3/28 Follow up visit ( which l missed and you rescheduled graciously ) , was another stellar experience. Oakhurst will be my dogs vet . From now on. Driving 35 miles from Woodbridge.
RecommendedRemy is our 2 1/2 year old Golden Doodle. She loves her visits to Oakhurst VH. Whether she is in for a visit with the Doctor, Daycare or overnight... Remy comes home happy and healthier. I love the “Report Cards” we receive after her stay❤️.

RecommendedWhile visiting my parents, I took my boy Chewy in for some anal gland issues he was having. Thankfully Dr. Levinson spotted a lump that was bothering Chewy and recommended removing the lump and doing a biopsy. It was Christmas time and surgeries were already super booked but Dr. Leanza stepped in to meet Chewy and to perform the surgery, leaving ample time for a follow up visit before we left for our cross country road trip home. RecommendedHands down the best Veterinary Hospital you will ever come across. Dr Wefer, Dr Campbell, Dr Shock, Dr Riggio just to name a few -- the amazing Staff so many too mention and the vet technicians, especially Kimberly who was so good with my Jenna Mae recently. A personal thank you to Dr Shock for your thoroughness, love for animals and keeping me sane through a very hard couple of days. You all are amazing people!! Thank you doesn't even justify it... but thank you thank you thank you!
RecommendedI've been going here for years to take care of the various animals (traditional and exotic) I've had in my life. However, during this hard time the entire staff at Oakhurst shone and saved the life of my cat Autumn! They were compassionate, and gave me frequent updates on her and her recovery. I trust these guys more than anything, and for as long as I live in NJ will not trust my animals elsewhere.
RecommendedWednesday night was a tough night. I had to make the tough decision and put my best friend Brody down. The whole staff was compassionate and caring. The toughest thing we do is make the decision to spare our best friend from pain and suffering. The dr and staff could see my pain and were comforting. I miss my Brody terribly but your staff made my toughest day bearable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
