Wonderful and caring staff - always friendly and willing to assist with anything. My mom is cared for and loved. If you are looking for a place then look no farther because they truly are the best at making everything as to close to being at home as possible. I have had nothing but great experience with facility.
Great facility but cleaning staff keeps coming and going so lacks in that area but otherwise i would recommend staff is very friendly caring and welcoming my mom loves it and always lots of activities available if residents want to participate

I would tell them that I had a very unpleasant experience at Oaks. I was completely surprised at the treatment after we moved my father in.

If your family member is still able to get around and can perform daily tasks with some assistance, the Oaks at Cedar Shoals is a great option. It is well run and the staff are very loving and caring towards all of the residents.

From start to finish, what a GREAT experience! My 94 yo mom needed a place to stay for 2 weeks while we were gone. This was the perfect choice! The staff are incredibly friendly and caring. It shows on the faces of the residents as well. Everyone seemed happy and welcoming. We would definitely do this again and would also prioritize this facility if more long term care is needed. We are most pleased! Excellent care; well maintained; personable/friendly staff. They offer weekly trips for shopping and entertainment; Transportation to medical appointments within Athens area; birthday parties; games and in-house group activities; weekly cleaning; daily trash pickup. We had a great tour. The woman who ran the place was incredible. I felt that she would have been a lot of the reason we might have chosen them. The facility had a small-town feeling, seemed super clean, and we witnessed them treating everybody with respect. It was not as grand or modern of a facility, but my first impression was a positive one.

The facility is very clean and everyone has been super friendly during our experience here so far. The food is repetitive, especially for breakfast so they could definitely add more of a variety to the menu. Overall we would recommend Oaks at Cedar Shoals to others looking.
