TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

My first experience and I have to say we live in a world that lacks customer service but not here, when you walk in it’s bright and makes you smile, I get to the counter and Orit went above and beyond to help me figure out what my first meal would be. Dave’s Bites are unlike anything I have had before. So crunchy on the outside juicy on the inside! I will def be back!
Great simple menu and I absolutely love the fact that you get to choose your heat level. You will pay just a little bit more than some other similar restaurants but when the food is that much better, I promise it’s worth the price. Clean cuts of perfectly cooked and crispy chicken, incredible taste and great sauces. I’ve been twice and will continue to return.
Fresh & tasty. Ordered medium heat which was not spicy at all. Fries were good enough. Asked for hot sauce and got off brand packets that weren’t too hot or tasty. Waited about 15 minutes for our order and there were about 6 other people there. Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake was very good. Would go back again and try heat level Hot
First time trying it by ordering DoorDash and I enjoyed it! I normally don’t eat tenders but I wanted to try and support since much was my open late night! I ordered the tenders (medium and hot). Medium is fine. Hot definitely has heat. I love the sauce and pickles. Since it took time to receive my order, fries were warm but tasty. I can just imagine hot. I will definitely try again and I recommend trying it!
This is how my food was handed to me. I brought this up to a manager(Bobby) and was not offered any refund similar to the amount I spent on my order. Who wants to eat food that spilled all over a contaminated bag? It was disgusting and super disappointing. I’ve reached out to that website given in response to this post, and Alexa refuses to help any further. Will not be returning due to horrible customer service
