The veterinarian staff is phenomenal, but the management?! Not so much. I received a letter from an collection agency stating that I had an outstanding bill from Ocotillo, but what’s so funny is I WAS ONCE AN EMPLOYEE, not ONCE did they reach out to notify me about the balance. Yes, of course I was aware I had to pay them some type of money but before I had left my account had read “0.00” and I told them to LET ME KNOW ONCE THEY UPDATED MY FILE I WOULD PAY WHAT THEY WERE DUE! Businesses have to at least attempt to notify th... read more

😠😤😡🤬 Ocotillo Animal pet clinic and Resort is more concerned on your pets BANK ACCOUNT then helping your pet thorough whatever illness or Vaccinations is needed to keep your pet healthy. I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PET CLINIC / RESORT.

If you are currently seeking a veterinarian I strongly advise you to continue your search. If you are currently a client and it has so much as crossed your mind to find a new veterinarian, I strongly recommend starting the transition earlier than later. I do not have any trust or confidence with the staff. The first two times something went wrong was with staff. I let it go, because my dogs and I were comfortable going to there. The third time something went wrong was with vet and staff on the day of surgery. The fourth and... read more

I am heartbroken writing this review of my recent experience with this clinic. My dog was brought in on Monday to have a tooth extracted due to an abscess. She had to be put under. During this visit they also cleaned her teeth. When my parents picked up my dog, she was NOT the same dog she was prior to the visit. My dog was happy, energetic and LOVED to eat. When she was picked up she was none of those things. My dog could NOT WALK. They injured her spine and her back leg somehow (they did not say?) and I want to assume the ... read more

Always a shit show. They're only in it for the money, they have misdiagnosed SO many animals leaving people and their bank accounts destroyed. They'll tell you they couldn't do something then charge you for it anyway. They are for the most part all grumpy and very clearly would rather be working somewhere else. They don't even try to comfort your animal before man handling them and sending them back to you bloody and terrified. Took a whole day to comfort my dog after his appointment. And we didn't get a thing accomplished. ... read more

My experience is that they don't care about helping animals if there is no money involved! A 5 month old black pup was hit twice and brought in to Ocotillo Animal Clinic for help but of course no money to pay for his surgery. It was posted on facebook and several people were networking for a rescue and funds, apparently Ocotillo Animal Clinic didn't want to deal with this on a Friday or over the weekend! They euthanized this pup the same day! The cost for surgery was said to be around $10,000?! Really! An orthopedic vet woul... read more

Boarding Staff is good and Medical staff as well. Unfortunately it's the front office staff that gets in the way of all this. Usually when I arrive to the clinic, front office staff has their face in the phone call they're on, no acknowledgement and rather chaotic atmosphere going on. Spent over 20 minutes today on the phone waiting to get information on boarding for my dog. 20 minutes for a simple schedule question! asked to speak to office manager, at which time I got the voicemail and no call back. Meanwhile I'm at work,... read more

My puppy was stung by a bee and not knowing what to do we brought her to this clinic. The reaction was so bad my son was holding her head up while she was trying to breath. We walked into the clinic only to learn it was not a emergency clinic. I would of never of known that by the love and care we received. Later that afternoon Carley came home with us as a tired but happy little puppy. I could not thank them all enough. Thank you staff and Dr Sarah Heinrich
