I’ve been in three times this past week, attempting to become a new donor, but each time I have been asked to come back the next day because the “dr” for the physical was not there. So this morning before I went in, I called their call center to make sure I could go in, I was informed that I can go in to become a new donor anytime before 4pm today. the sign in progress is overly slow and the staff are uninformative and unhelpful. during the physical the "Dr." asked about a scar. I explained I was in a car accident 5 years ago and have a metal plate to repair a shattered bone. then he ended the process and said I couldn't donate. there are no questions or info stating that the it should exclude me due to that. I think that should be more important info than CJD since medical hardware is super common and crutchfield Jacob disease only has around 1000case a year
they are disrespectful and it takes to long for no reason
RecommendedFirst time visit/donation. Took over 4 hours and you can not leave. People, computers, systems all slow. Only reason I’ll be back is they are closest place that pays.
Pay structure less than competition. Staff rude and indifferent
They are sooooooo slow. I could count 4 employees standing around in the front not doing anything. When there were 9 individuals waiting for physicals. I have gone to other plasma centers and this is the 2nd slowest I’ve ever gone to!
if you need money and you pass all of their physicals for new do nor. it helps
Very unprofessional. Staff is not organized at all. I am tired of simple visits lasting longer than 2 hours because of staff confusion and lack of speed. Would not recommend unless you are EXTREMELY desperate for money. expect to stay 2 to 3 hours every time you go there. it is been about 3 weeks to a month since I last visited octapharma. however, the last time I did visit Octapharma I was yet again humiliated and disrespected publicly. DAVINA, who wouldn't even give me her name, actually said aloud in the presence of employees and donors " you're gonna have 2 switch with me because me and this one (me) r butting heads".
