Waited in exam room for 30+ minutes. When she finally arrived, she rushed through my test results as if I were inconveniencing her. I was upset about my diagnosis, but she was dismissive and tactless, making light of my hearing loss as if it were no big deal and I should be thrilled to get to wear a hearing aid. Visit probably lasted less than 5 minutes.
My appointment was with Laurel Brewer, but as per usual in healthcare these days, I didn't get to see her. Someone else did the exam. The person who did the exam was efficient and pleasant, and she seemed knowledgeable and skilled. I'd give her a good review, but I didn't catch her name, because, duh, I was there because I can't hear.
The facility was nice and the staff were pleasant without much waiting. The problem is that Todd is not current in hair loss treatments. I was surprised when he was condescending and argumentative and said no other dermatologists in northern Utah would prescribe the commonly utilized treatment that I had read about. Since walking out of the appointment due to his manner, I've contacted several Utah dermatologists that utilize the common treatment and plan to see one of them. If I had listened to him, my options for successfu... read more
We saw Dr. West in urgent care. She was quick and cold said my daughter had a virus 2 days later she has spots in her throat. We do a connect call they say they believe it’s strep and to call the Dr. I spend forever on hold 3x asking to get an antibiotic called in and explained the situation. They just kept saying they’d talk to her and call me I had to keep calling them and then in the end she still wouldn’t call one in! Had to do a 3rd appt for strep throat. So not helpful at all and awful dealing with the office too. No m... read more
Hands down the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. I took my daughter in on a Sunday for urgent care. He did not listen to our concerns and arrogantly dismissed us. I had to take my daughter in the next day to her pediatrician who did take her illness seriously. Total waste of time and money.
Unbelievable this guy still has a license. As a licensed healthcare professional, I sent my 21 yo daughter in while I was out of town to be checked for severe headache and other symptoms mimicking chicken pox. He blurted out, right after walking in, before doing a thorough assessment “it’s not chicken pox!” He nonchalantly mentioned the clinic has recently seen other patients with similar symptoms. He did not order a varicella test as he should have. He did not give her a work release to be excused for her food service job. ... read more
It seemed to be a hassle for him to see my son. He did not care to see children at all. Then I made a well check up for my son. His staff called me the day before his appointment and said he wont and dose not like the medicaid chip. He will take medicaid but really doesn't want to. He should inform his whole staff about his dislike in insurance and save me the time and hassle. Not everyone as a single parent can afford normal health insurance and he should not be so judgmental to single parents that do. But just like his sta... read more
We arrived on Nov 30th at our scheduled time only to find Dr Christensen gone home. His receptionist Valarie tried to say we were late and when we corrected her she said: "Well he (Lane) is the Dr and he can do whatever he wants." We were shocked. It might be because we looked like poor immigrants with no influence. Which is sad because we did our research and wanted a young up coming Dr as our growing family Dr.
