Really nice people but in my opinion, not a good value. Basic oil change but they charge for ither top off services that you normally get free at other places. They ask if you want the fluids topped off but I didn't know it wasn't included so the extra charges surprised me. I wasn't upset but felt a little nickle and dimed. Came here on a whim before heading out of town. We were en route to Jiffy Lube but opted to turn around and head to Pit Stop because we were so tired of the up-selling at Jiffy and thought maybe it could be a game-changer for us if we just gave it a chance. This is the place to go for an oil change. Fast and reliable. So far Terry is my favorite oil change guy but all of them have been great.
Pit Stop USA is a refreshing change from the other franchises such as Oil Can Henrys or Jiffy Lube. These people, maybe even the owner, seem to actually care about what they are doing. You don't get 3 human robots staring at a computer screen then looking where to add the steering fluid. They appear to be knowledgeable, honest, and always offer a free car wash. Great place to stop for a quick oil change. Good service, honest and knowledgable, no attempts to sell me things I don't need, and fair prices. This is the only place I will go for oil changes.
I have had them change my oil and do a few other small maintenance things with my car several times and every single time they have been great! They have done extra things to help and charged very reasonably. Today, they spent extra time fixing my hood, which has not been closing all the way, because they were concerned for my safety. I hate going to quick oil change places. My experience today at Pit Stop was therefore a pleasant surprise. It was indeed quick; the technician was efficient and courteous; and I never had to get out of the car. He told me it is locally owned and the second oldest quick oil change place in the country. Good enough for me!
Knowledgable, friendly, and fast. The price felt fair. No pushing of extra services, but a quick overall check and a few suggestions. They threw in a free car wash. What's not to like?
