She is very kind, listens, explains, empathizes and makes great eye contact. I have a unique situation and she willingly takes on my care if needed.
This dr is sexiest and will do the bare minimum ignores conserns
After investing 2 years with this physician with my needs and my children's needs, he informed me that he would no longer see us as patients because I would not vaccinate my children. I attempted to explain I respected his opinion on vaccinations, however, with my research and spiritual convictions this is not what is in the best interest of my children. It seems like he is trying to set a record of quickest time with a patient each time you visit. Just sits there and types on his laptop then kicks me down the road to another specialist or anyone else to actually help. Never once left an appointment feeling like we had a handle on why I came in. Asked for a full physical and that consisted of him asking me maybe 3 questions, typing on his computer, the sending me to get blood drawn. Dr. Guevarra comes off as indifferent and generally disinterested. He is not really friendly and gives the impression that he just wants to move in to his next patient. I went in for a cold, bronchitis or sinus infection or something else…. He never explained what was wrong with me. It didn’t occur to me that I never got a diagnosis until my wife asked and I answered that “You know…he never told me…”
After recent events I've decided to provide a complete review! After a couple years under his care, I would have to call into question if he ever repeat ever heard a word I said! He wasn't even able to fake it, till you make it. At no time, repeat no time, did I believe he was interested in me, my health let alone making an effort to plan anything unless it was planning how he could end the appointment the quickest! Terrible. Called me after ultrasound test and told me I probably didn't have cancer and not to worry. I guess he wasn't worried because he never actually referred me to a specialist like he said, despite numerous calls to his office.The ultrasound said I almost certainly had cancer. I'd be dead if I hadn't been persistent following up on this.
I was very sad to hear she left. She was my doctor and my kids doctor.
She's always professional and really listens to the patient. I'm really upset she's no longer at Antioch Family Care.
