Olde Marco Island Inn Everything was great
Wonderful!! We normally don't stay on Marco Island due to the higher cost than Naples, but this time we did. I happen to come across Olde Marco Inn at a reasonable price. I had read the reviews and as usual there were good and bad reviews. You can never tell till you go there. We were absolutely surprised! Old Marco Inn and Suites Good except that maid service seemed to end early in the afternoon. If you sleep late, you're out of luck. Good thing I had a car otherwise, you can't really walk anywhere to shop,. There is a rest. on site, but find dining, and the tourist rest. Snooks is walkable. I needed a car to get toilet paper; it seems the maid missed that fact, leaving us with a half roll, and a bottle of glass cleaner she forgot to remove from our bathroom. Would go back to this one anytime Our stay at the Olde Marco Island Inn and Suites was great. Our room was the equivalent of a one-bedroom apartment, with a full kitchen, living area, large bath and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. The inn is in a residential area, very secure, about 2 blocks from the water. We bought groceries and cooked in several days; I like the savings there! Very pleasantly surprised We stayed here the week before Easter and absolutely loved the Olde Marco Island Inn. With two teenage girls it was terrific having 2 bedrooms and two full bathrooms.While the pool area was modest, it met our needs and the more intimate setting allowed for getting to know some fellow residents. The front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly and the outdoor cafe and shops on the premises were great. The only thing lacking during our stay was easy beach access. Wonderful staff Lady at the front desk gave us wonderful recommendations for places to go on every day of the week and we had a great time! Only downside is not being directly on the beach but it is a short drive and you have to pay for parking either at a hotel on the beach or going to the public areas. Parking at this hotel was free. Nice to have a full size fridge and kitchen.
