Before I met Dr. Dholakia, I was hardly able to leave my home because of my severe anxiety. Dr. Dholakia listened to me when I felt no one else did. He was kind, caring, and respectful which I did not find in a psychiatrist beforehand. He helped guide me in the right direction so my family and I could understand my needs. In have two children with special needs. I have experience with many Psychiatrists. I have never had such a great experience with anyone until meeting Dr Dholakia! He listens and asks questions. He cares about his patients. Before him, other Drs wanted to just load my children up with drugs. Both children have unique cases which makes finding the right medications quite difficult. I have been a foster parent for over twenty years. In all of that time, I have never had a doctor for my children who was as knowledgeable, patient, compassionate or caring. His treatments have been much more successful than any others that have been tried in the past. It is obvious that he reads any report that is brought to him in regard. to the patient. Dr. Dholakia is the greatest psychiatrist I have ever seen in my life! He listened to every word that I said and paid very close attention to my side affects from the medications I was on! So sad and disappointed that he is leaving! Good luck Dr. D!
My daughter was having trouble in school and we were send to see dr d. My husband and I were so concerned going in on what kind of person we would be dealing with. After the first appointment we realized how amazing this man actually is! My family and I have been patients of Dr. Dholakia for over a year now and I have to say he is hands down the greatest doctor that has ever treated us. He is professional, kind and knowledgeable.
