We have had a ghost ant and millipede problem for about 6 months on and off. We have lived in our place for almost 15 years, and have never had a problem with pests until recently. We have an 18 month old, so we didn't want to have bug poison sprayed in our home, however after many failed attempts from using store bought and home made bug spray/traps/bait etc. nothing seemed to work for more than a day. Crap customer care - called twice spoke for two separate people who did nothing for me, no call Back as promised appointment set up. They just didn't care, I won't be using and won't recommend.
The rep promised me same day service with a 4-6pm arrival window due to an emergency. They waited an hour to call me back - after I rushed home and it was too late to call most other companies - to say that they never logged my call, and they wouldn't be showing up.
I have not and I will not do any business with Orkin because of my very first experience trying to contact this company. FIrst, I called their phone number and I am taken on a talking to a machine journey that is intended to take as many thousands of calls as possible per day, treating you just like another number. Then, after trying for quite a bit to ask a few questions, I get to a human being. Changing lawn care. yard full of weeds and Sandhill Cranes have picked lawn apart going for insects. Orkin ok for house pest control but not lawn care.
I called this company they gave me a quote based on the ability to guarantee that they could get rid of the mouse problem I come to find out when they return to my home that they cannot do this first lie then they promise they'll be back in two weeks after the initial visit and the $250 charge Second lie then I called and requested a total refund and I was told that someone would be coming out to the house third lie after that I requested my money back and they told me that I would be getting a total refund I got my $44 back... read more
