Orofacial & Dental Implant Surgery is a upscale office with the best equipment used by the best staff. Dr. Alicea took great care of me and showed concerns about my underlying condition ( Diabetes ). He even had paper work printed up to further educate me on my condition. This showed he cared for me as a person and not just his patient. I know I may have to return and I feel confident and not anxious like before.
Dr. Alicea is the kindest, most thorough and detail oriented oral surgeon ever. He's helped me through a couple implants and bone loss problems. The staff is great too.

I went to this practice because I had seen Dr Antonos a few years ago, and I was extremely pleased with both his skills and his care. I was sitting down answering the assistant's questions when this guy comes in, tells me to open my mouth and proceeds to stick his fingers under my tongue! Luis didn’t read my referral notes . Took his own lead . Didn’t listen to the patient . What a disservice ..showed no concern or interest in my problem . He needs better social skills and professionalism .
I went to Dr. Alicea to have my wisdom tooth removed. After a couple of days the left side of my face was still numb. I went back to let him know that this isn't normal. He told me to take vitamin B pills and brushed it off. Weeks later still the same issue, he gave me pills but that still did not work. He also told me I am not young and these things happen to older folks...I was 35. A year later my bottom lip and chin is still numb. I regret ever going to this man.
It has been over 3 months since I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Alicea and my bottom lip is still numb. During all my visits, he rushes in and out. Does not take time to fully answer my questions. Half the time I keep stopping him before he rushes out the door. On all occasions, his nurse is the one that takes the time to fully answer my questions. And if they don't know, they then go and find out the answer. There are much better doctors out there that take their time and actually care.
On 01/06/2017 I went to this doctor on the recommendation of my dentist for two tooth extractions. During the process there were several irregularities The doctor did not use gloves to look for the vein, and uncertain the same needle twice, I also left the catheter in my arm and do not drain the serum line. And the worst part only apologized and I blame the attendants, I told him that he had control of the surgery and I am as a patient , I just expected a quality serv
