I was losing my front tooth with resorption and because it was an overlapping tooth I didn’t have enough space to have a straight forward Bridge replacement. I also had gaps on my bottom teeth and a gap, from early extractions as a teenager, in my upper front Molar which I wasn’t happy with. At age 64 when I started my treatment I didn’t feel confident to walk around with braces on my teeth so I opted for incognito braces fitted behind my upper and lower teeth. My front tooth was extracted by my dental surgeon, the root was taken off and the tooth was fitted to my incognito brace by Dr Huntley. No one knew I had lost my tooth or that I was wearing braces. After two and a half years I now have a new implanted front tooth that only family and friends knew I had lost and my upper teeth have been realigned to the centre. A big thank you to everyone involved. It was a pleasure to walk into the surgery every 6 weeks and I’m delighted with the process and the outcome.
