Was in town for business meeting. Found restaurant on open table. Family run Italian restaurant. We had the specials and they were excellent. The meat was flavorful and fell off the bone. Service was prompt and attentive. Would definitely come back.
The food was tasty and the portions were more than plenty for the average person.
My husband and I came here for our anniversary and were very glad we made a reservation. We sat outside on the patio, which was fun and vibrant, with people all over the Gaslamp district, walking by all evening. The food was fantastic: the calamari fritti was among the best we have ever had ...large pieces and very little batter. Superb. Chilean sea bass special with grilled scallops in lobster sauce was very tasty but missing the scallops. When I told the waiter I did not get scallops he came back with 2 scallops in a small dish with the lobster sauce. Then on the bill he charged me $10 for each scallop which came to an extra $20 which I asked to have removed. Risotto seafood special had lots of seafood but not much rice.
