My house now needs to be entirely rebricked and stoned. They did not use any brick ties higher than 6' and the WIND knocked the bricks out of the house. They used 0 ties on my living room stone fireplace. This could have killed somebody in my family. Also, there were a list of other things during this build that made dealing with OCH a nightmare. DO NOT USE!

The entire experience was awful! I will write a full review later. Do not build with OCH they didn’t use brick ties and our brick fell off the house today! If this has hit someone they would have been killed. The interior paint was horrible, they didn’t sand the cabinets, had to install new cabinets, painted over dirt dober nest, cut down 30 plus trees in our woods without permission to run the water line in the wrong location. I have more pictures to post as well. BUYER BEWARE!

One of the worst builders I've ever had to deal with … especially with the price range of the homes they build. Anyone considering buying a home from Our Country Homes is welcome to come by and ask about our terrible experience, much of which you can see for yourself!!! They are so focused on building as many homes as they can, they really don't seem to care about the people who have already purchased one of their homes, and they are certainly not very easy to work with.

Horrible Builder.. Take your 500-million dollars elsewhere..They are not a custom builder like they say they are...They have very rude people working for them on the job sites..One of the supervisors even made a Racist joke about Latinos which my wife is..He thought it was funny..Our kitchen looks horrible because of the way they tried to stain them, they were suposed to be dark walnut now they are completely black...They had to redo our staircase another stain issue....the list goes on..THIS COMPANY IS A P.O.S..

Horrible customer service by the builder. Was thinking of building there but after talking with him, his manners rubbed me the wrong way. I can only imagine what 9 months with him building our home would be like.

Long story, I don't normally leave a bad review. Rough start to move in. None of the punch list items were even close to being done when we moved in. They scheduled appointments with me multiple times and were very very late to most all of them. They had a lot of turnover at the time when we were moving it so it got passed to like 3 people but never got done. I fixed a lot of it myself, I didn't bill them or ask for any money for my time. Even fixtures in the house were missing hardware, they did not have hardware for them. ... read more

I’m wondering about the financial stability of Our Country Homes as vacant lots in Stinson Highlands have weeds over FIVE feet tall.

I am sorry about the weeds in Stinson Highlands. Our previous landscape company could not handle the wide territory that we build, so they were missing lots in our far east communities. We have just hired a new landscape company to handle that side of town and will have those lots taken care of soon.
