Attitude of thankfulness is what I gained from being at Oxford Treatment Center. The big groups are the best with Mr Hank and Mr Barry teaching about addiction and how to recover. Loved the art and muusic groups as well.
I was told early in life to take the cotton out of my ears and put in my mouth because I was someone who had all the answers. Since going to OTC I learned that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. Today I listen more and I'm in recovery.
I believe this is a really good treatment center for the fact that the staff cares about each of us, and want to see us be successful. Initially it was hard, but the longer I was here with an open mind the more I started to benefit. Food is good too.
Came here for detox and decided to stay for the whole program because I couldn't keep using drugs like I was and now that I stayed, it was a huge blessing. It really feels good to be clean and sober especially after the withdrawals passed.
Oxford wasn't my first choice buit after coming there it definitely turned into the best thing thats ever happened to me. I'm finally in sobriety as a result of this amazing facility thats filled with the best staff in America.
My entire treatment at Oxford was unbeleivable and awesome. The equine with Mr Fred, Marty, Greg and Wesley was incredible and absolutely helped shift my perspective about my addiction and the way it affected my family in a negative way.
Finding gratitude is much easier today than it was before I went to treatment. OTC offers excellent recovery to gain the necessary tools to maintain sobriety. Definitely recommend this treatment center.
Since coming to oxford treatment center I have regained my dignity and my family is extremely proud of me. My process group is the best and the counselors and TA's are awesome.
