Its been lovely at The Oxford Center. I have been to some different facilities and this one is the best.
My only criticism would be that I did not always get an explanation of how everything was going to go. Overall, I had a great experience but could of used more information on the front end. Laura was my therapist and she did a good job and treatment wise it would a success. I preferred Resolutions to the Etta facility. I really enjoyed Hanks "Hijacked brain" lectures.
I liked that they know how to talk to you at this treatment center. i have been to others where they treat you like a prisoner.
I was at Etta . I liked the staff at outpatient and the classes. I loved Martinses, my therapist. I liked that we had more freedom at outpatient but were still in a safety bubble. I liked all the people
I enjoyed Resolutions. I wish there was more one on one. We meet once a week and I would have liked to meet more than once. We had a lot of time off at Resolutions and I like more structure, but it was good.
I was touched by the lives that I was able to connect with while at Oxford Treatment Center. It is a place that let me heal. I'd like to come back and work there some day. Unfortunately, my time was cut sure because of insurance but thats the way it goes some times. Thanks OTC
I was told some things by the people in TN that turned out to not be true. It was frustrating. There were times at outpatient when they were understaffed and did not get us to where we were supposed to go. The program itself was really good. I got a lot of tools there that will help me as I move forward.
The food in Etta was not very good but everything else was good. Its been the best time in my life. I have met some really good people.
I liked the groups in Etta. My favorite was art therapy. I liked the mediation groups and the holistic wellness approach. I had Laura Merrill at outpatient and she was great. Got me started on EMDR.
