When we toured with Palmetto Landing, we were passed off to many different people. The facility is larger and I felt it would be hard for someone using a walker to navigate. It was also a lot more expensive but I felt that they did not offer more for the money.

The staff were really nice, friendly, and accommodating. They went the extra mile to make sure my mom was comfortable while she was there. They were very communicative and kept us in the loop / updated. They were short staffed but did the best they could and did a good job with my mom.

I think Palmetto Landing is a very good facility and a good value. But it isn't the right fit for everyone. I would encourage families to make sure their loved one is thoroughly evaluated before being placed.

This facility was used for another loved one. I did not really see any changes from the past when we were there previously. They wanted my loved one to be tested weekly due to no vaccine and I did not see the need for this.

When you do your tour pay attention to the care of the residents are receiving and not the sales pitch. Ask questions so that you really understand what they offer. I would recommend this community if your loved one is more independent.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a good experience, the community was clean. However it just seemed more of an older crowd, and residents who needed more help then what we were looking for. The community itself was also older and more traditional.

We chose Palmetto Landing because it is close to where my sister and I lived. The room sizes here were small but adequate for what she needed. The food here was ok. We had to bring in special care services to this facility, they offer some and some they don't. I would recommend this community.

The food could of been a lot better. The rooms were fine. The care services were just okay, they claimed she needed more medication then what she actually need. They never knew where her medicine was, it was either "lost" or "couldn't find it." One thing that did stand out to us was the location, we liked the layout of the facility. The administrator we spoke to in the beginning was excellent,

Very nice and small enough for my mother. The price was a little more affordable than the sister location of the Cascade, however price is a major consideration for my mother.
