First, the training. It was good in terms of the interaction with the training agents. They were informative about the processes. In terms of the site, and some of the information I received regarding updating my website during joining and training was a little misleading or not as they explained. I have been with Parkbench for about 6 months now. It's been great to be able to send clients to the website to get more information on the community, especially those moving into the area. I love that it is all about building relationships and getting to know the people in the area. I've had on my list of "to do's" for the last couple of years to do videos to highlight businesses in the area, but never seemed to get to it. I'm new to Parkbench and so far the support has been excellent. Every step has been clearly broken down so that now that I'm ready to start interviews, I feel prepared. I like the concept of making connections with local business owners and non-profits. It's not about the most perfect website or perfect interviews. The goal is to make connections and they have prepped me well for that. Whenever I've had a question, someone answers right away.
I have NEVER experienced support like I got yesterday with Sal. He was patient and indefatigable in his effort to make sure he provided me all I needed. We confronted a number of problems I was experiencing and stayed with me until the the problems were completely corrected or answered. I cannot thank him enough. What a great asset to have in the parkbench arsenal.
Parkbench has been a valuable resource for me in several ways. It has given me ideas for content on my social media pages that are different than what everyone else posts.
