Well the last minute request were handled promptly by the team once I was able to turn the required needs into them. We still closed on time even though I was struggling to get the necessities into them as I work out of state and away from any computer needed requirements. A lot of things can’t be turned in from the apps off of your phone you need an actual PC. So two days before closing it was crunch time but that didn’t delay the underwriting team. I would have liked some counseling or guidance on loan products, rates etc. early on in the process. I was later given some information but not until it was too late, and I was locked. I also think I may not have received the best rate possible. Communication with my loan officer was a bit lacking at times. Overall, it was a fine experience but not amazing.
