Horrible experience with Dr. Alisa Boomer. Very condescending and unprofessional. Would never recommend this place, and we’ve been patients here for over 2 years. In a stressful time, when you think your pet baby is dying…is not a time to use language like ‘well, I’m not a magician’ when asked if steroids would help alleviate some symptoms. Or for her to ask me in a tone you can imagine ‘Well, do *you* have a medical degree in animals?’ When I asked questions about the medication chosen by her and the limited options of la... read more
My puppy, Saban, LOVED coming here!! She loved being boarded here and loved the people. I brought her here to see Dr. Fimple on Thursday, Oct 17 for wheezing, lack of appetite and lethargy. Dr. Fimple diagnosed her with allergies and put her on an antibiotic. By Sunday, Saban was nearly dead. She was 8 months old and died of congestive heart failure, ascites and pericarditis. The vet at the animal ER was able to identify the issue within minutes of our arrival, however Dr. Fimple examined her for 30 minutes, listened to her ... read more
More then just a name change. They are uncaring and unpassionate about your animal. I have gone no where else in many years but I am looking for a new vet. I hope others don't have to face this and lose a baby because of it.
Our little Billy Bear passed away late Christmas eve. Thanks to Dr. Trace for at least giving him and us a little hope . I still believe a little bit of caring and a parvo test and proper medication (which we told you we could, and would gladly paid for in one week), could have saved his life and he could be opening his presents with Baby this morning. A little compassion and caring can mean more than you think! Hope you have as Merry a Christmas as we will. Baby will not be seeing any of you again. She is as heartbroken as w... read more
Took my puppy to this hospital for vomiting and diarrhea. The vet tech tried to get a sample of her feces, but got nothing. No other tests were performed on my puppy. Vet comes in room and tells us the puppy had tested positive for Parvo, and would not survive. I would like to know how he tested her without any feces or blood samples. Took puppy to get second opinion the puppy was negative for Parvo. Only thing wrong with puppy was that she ate my other puppy's food which upset her tummy.
