I and my family have been going to Dr. Rutledge for many years. Always handled my needs which were frequently difficult.
Dr. James Rutledge is an excellent and competent practitioner. He has a soothing and calming presence which helps for those of us that are fearful of dental procedures. He has a very caring and wonderful staff that are always very accommodating. When I moved to the area with my husband, who is a retired periodontist, Dr. Rutledge was highly recommended by another well regarded specialist in Virginia Beach.
My husband and I came all the way from Croatia for our hygiene visits at Dr. Rutledge’s Office. I was able to use his website and request appointments for my husband and myself. This is the greatest group of people! They are caring, fast, efficient, ON TIME--everything you could want in a dental practice! I do not trust just anyone with my mouth--I have had some really bad experiences in the past, but I completely trust this group!

Me and my teeth are an ongoing soap opera. So when I moved to Virginia 5 years ago, I was on the lookout for a new dentist almost immediately. I saw an ad in the local paper from a satisfied patient who shared some of my own issues. I called and made an appointment right away and have been Dr. Rutledge’s patient ever since. He is knowledgeable, experienced and good at problem solving. I love all of his staff. Everyone there exudes confidence and makes me feel better at every appointment. Highly recommended.
