Okay The room had water damage , it was presidents day weekend which I understand could have brought the price up but I was charged what would usually have been a weeks stay for 2 nights for a room that had no kitchenette, waterdamage, cats scratching at my door and riody neighbors. The location is great, I've stayed here before and it was a 10!! Great service ,great value for money, great facilities, it's just a one great little motel. So I would recommend you give it a shot and I'm hoping this was just a misstep.
1st Christmas stay in Fredricksburg Kitchen suite needed to be more uniformly stocked...ie....one nice size skillet, baking pan etc. Cleanliness! Walking distance to Main St. Comfortable!
Disappointed With Room and Maid Service Stayed at Peach Tree for the first time a few months ago and loved it. Thought we had found a place for our trips to Friedersburg. This time we paid for deluxe king and received room where you had to sit on bed to watch TV. Sofa was no use to us. Should have booked one of the smaller rooms. Did not compare to the room we had a few months ago. Maid made bed but did not empty trash or clean floor. Do not plan to be back.

Old property needs. updating. No Headboard on bed,no telephone for local calls,no clock radio, floors were very dusty, spider in bathroom. Left before breakfast was served
Hmmm...I wish I had more information before I booked it! They didn't know we had booked it through Bookit. One of the keys to unlock the door did not work. There was no hot water in the shower. We had to do "sink" baths. There was only one switch for 12 lights so, both the lights over the bed and the lights in the sitting area came on at the same time. Disappointing The bed was awful. Parking was not good. Breakfast was poor. Clean and centrally located.
Won't do it again - website photos must have been taken years ago. Room, furnishings, carpet, windows, bathroom, patio/porch, sofa,...all were much more worn/stained/older/not maintained than seen on the website. And the room really smelled quite bad. The bed was very comfortable and the DirecTV offered a lot of channels.
Not a place I would stay again. The Mattress on the King size bed had a sunk in hole. Had to change sides of bed with my wife for her comfort. The location was very nice. Very close to good food and shopping.
