Ordered steak and eggs via uber eats this morning; will preface by saying I’ve been here before a few times and it’s generally not very good, but the food is so simplistic that I dismiss it and figure it’ll be better next time. The steak was quite possibly the driest, toughest meat I’ve had aside from a slim Jim in years 😆 I ordered medium rare. Eggs were good! Grits were like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Haven’t ordered in several years for prior dissatisfaction. Gave it a chance. Again. Received order. Disappointed is an understatement. Country Benedict? $13? For this? Unacceptable for a long standing establishment to send this out. No pride in quality or presentation? Could’ve got a better looking McMuffin at McDs. Lost my appetite. Will be tossing this. We will not order again. Ever. Bradenton Native.
A nice homey, comfortable atmosphere. It's a bit of a throwback and hometown diner style which is perfect for breakfast. I had scrambled eggs, bacon and english muffin while my wife had a Californer omelet. Coffee was good too. We both loved the whole experience and will definitely be back.
The food was amazing, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The prices were very fair and affordable. They could stand to clean their a/c return vents and probably replace the filters, otherwise it was a very clean restaurant including the bathrooms. Look forward to returning on my next visit in town!
Good breakfast place. Nothing overly fancy which was fine. Sometimes you just want good solid breakfast food. Staff nice. Service fast.
