I was shocked by how this office operates. A week earlier they confirmed my kids’ insurance was accepted, but the day before the appointment they told me it wouldn’t be covered and that a “second opinion” would cost $195 per child. I’ve already been to two other pediatric dentists and never once was I charged for a second opinion — so clearly this office is out of line. Been dreading making this review, but here goes.... My two daughters had been patients here, for nearly 3 years. This is the only dentist my 5 year old has ever been to and the only pediatric dentist we have used since moving to Texas. I chose this location because it is black woman owned and operated. It has all the bells and whistles, engaging and friendly dental assistants and office staff. However, the last couple of visits, the dentist and owner started to rub me the wrong way. Dr. Marshall has a tendency of over booking and wasting people's time. Our time is just as valuable as hers. I had already been thinking of changing Dentist and she helped making my decision easier today. If your on a time crunch Do Not come to her office as she's always rushing from one patient to another. It seems as she's in for how much money she can make a day then the quality of care she gives.
Front desk staff is RUDE. Day before my sons appointment they claimed everything was covered by insurance 100%. Show up for appointment today and they said visit would cost $275. Front desk staff is incompetent and rude. Would not recommend this office to anyone

I just called and was told that they aren’t accepting any new patience that have Medicaid my children have two insurances and they said they can schedule but would only bill the ppo. Which doesn’t make sense because they accept both insurances. It looks discriminatory against those with certain insurances.
