Our loan process was seamless, timely and handled professionally thanks in large part to Nancy Msrkanian's attentive management of our account. We felt the communication could have been better throughout the transaction. Even, at the end, I received an email that the new loan was funded, but I didn't get any notification about the transaction closing and the old loan getting paid off. Also, the initial Closing Paperwork to be e-signed was incorrect. The taxes were doubled and I had to call to get that corrected.
I'm very thankful for the PNMAC team who took care of processing my home loan. We had a hiccup towards the end (not because of PNMAC but because of the other 3rd party) - but PNMAC team made sure I closed on the loan on time! I had a great experience working with PNMAC team! :)
Andrew Mortenson was very helpful every step of the way. I especially liked how when I dial in, the system transferred me to his phone immediately.
I selected the highest rating for the first two questions, but my selection was not reflected on the screen. I hope those come through the survey results as the highest ratings. Nancy was always very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She went the extra mile to make sure my questions were answered thoroughly, and she was very pleasant to work with. I appreciate Nancy's help as well as that of Leslie from Amrock and others on the m.a.c. Team who communicated with me during this process.
I was very nervous about refinancing our mtg, I was worried that info was not going to get transferred and didn't understand how the closing was going to take place. Nancy was very patient with me and in detail explained the process of the transfer of info and what to expect at closing in addition to the few steps I needed to take care of for the closing. Our conversations were never rushed and she made sure I understand before we would hang up. Nancy is a great asset to the Penny Mac Team.
There was a bit of confusion on our closing at two stages. 1) The MAC team contacted us in a bit of a rush stating that we were at jeopardy of losing our refi because they were unable to contact us. we were never out of contact, so not sure what they had happening on their side. 2) There was confusion with the notary. She indicated that she needed proof that the closing payments had been processed. The problem with that, we were given the final costs at 6pm EST on Friday so that was impossible
