Skilled, maticulous, sensitive...I have been to several dentists over the last forty plus years, and Dr. Penrod is the best!
Wait in the lobby was brief. Everyone was very friendly. Didn't get overly pressured to schedule a bunch of appointments for services not covered by insurance.
Staff and hygienist were very friendly and helpful. I take both my daughters here and they are happy.

I developed a very painful tooth ache over the the weekend...even 800 mg of Ibuprofen did not give me 100% relief. He was able to see me right away Monday morning. To my surprise the x-rays did not show any tooth decay or damage. After poking around the aching area he told me I probably did not have a tooth problem but more likely a sinus infection that was causing pain in my teeth. turns out he was RIGHT! Cleaning went well, staff was super nice :)
I cracked my tooth on Saturday night. It hurt a lot - but it wasn't an emergency. I called them and left a message asking for their earliest appointment. Someone called me Sunday afternoon and gave me an appointment first thing Monday morning.On Monday morning, Dr. Penrod and his assistant put a temporary crown on my tooth. This was my first crown ever, and I was really nervous, but they were very encouraging and kind. It didn't hurt much at all.Dr. Penrod and his staff are terrific! Thanks!
