Just had Evie our Guinea pig euthanized. We were charged $160!! $84 was for the euthanasia $76 was for a consultation "for the staff's mental health" - quoted by the vet on duty. It's bad enough having to say goodbye to a special pet, but then to be taken advantage like that is very upsetting. When booking the appointment we were told nothing about having to pay for a consultation to see if she was sick enough to be euthanized so that the vet doing the service didn't have to feel bad.
