We just signed with this company and the current oil price for delivered oil been announced by the sales rep as 10c less than we were billed in reality. So, we were billed for the highest possible price as per our annual agreement instead. Even if we ordered immediate delivery for 300+ gallons. The phone conversation with the sales department did not change anything. Scam!!! Beware!!!
Another positive experience having Gault in our home to fix and tune up our heating system. Ben L. was great at explaining what kind of work he was doing and a pleasure to have in our home.
They missed a scheduled tune up last year and had to reschedule months later. Then, they missed the rescheduled date! Morning appointment, then pushed to afternoon appointment, and then called to reschedule. Very unreliable. ;(
They have always been great anytime I needed the help the techs try to go above what was expected. When my boiler needed the part that wasn't covered they doubled checked with an additional service call to make sure nothing else could cause the issue before ordering the part. The only part they aren't great about is paying attention to the note on my account the boiler is in the crawl space which requires two techs, I remind them every time and when a tech arrives they need to wait for a second. I got a petro contract this year. They guaranteed to me that I would get my boiler serviced within the month. I took the day off of work to wait for the technician and they called 5 minutes before the scheduled appointment to say they couldn't make it that day because they were short staffed. The next available date was 5 weeks away. Took that date and stayed home again, this time the guy showed up only to leave a note on my door saying I wasn't home when he showed up...I was sitting 15 feet away from the door with 2 dogs...... read more
