My wife was smart enough to get the service plan which was fortuitous, as our furnace gave way March 6. Called around 6:00 p.m. and the technician came by around 7:30 and by 8:30 it was running smoothly. Beats sleeping in 35° temperature. Then it broke again with a controller issue the next day. I called again and they came and replace the controller for free. It's working fine.
Your company is trying to charge me a $500 early termination fee. I will never in this lifetime. Pay your company $500 for this early termination fee. No one ever told me about this ever and I made it clear to the gentleman that I spoke to over the phone to stop my service and he said it was fine. He did not tell me about an early termination fee and the oil man who delivered some oil to my oil tank, gave me a bill for only 200 and something dollars, sure I’ll pay that but that’s all I’m paying nothing else!!! Petro is very diligent in their delivery schedules. I never need to worry about running out of oil. Their prices are competitive, and their service is A1. I use them for my furnace maintenance needs and never have to worry about an issue, as their phone service is prompt and courteous as well.
Petro delivery drivers and service technicians are the best in RI. They are all covered by solid Union collective bargaining agreements, and they are workers that demand dignity and respect for their labor, and they give that dignity and respect back to Petro's customers, with their pride in quality workmanship.
No idea who is writing all these good reviews. This company will lie repeatedly to you to get you to sign a contract with them. They will assure you that there rates are comparable to other local companies, when in fact I was told yesterday by a customer service agent that they will ALWAYS be $1.50 -$2.00 more PER GALLON than other companies! I asked this very question at least 5-6 times before I agreed to the contract! I would never have agreed to pay that much more simply because someone will answer the phone 24/7. Sa... read more
