Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. This was a great find. We were unfamiliar with Phoenix restaurants, and the information on Open Table was critical to our decision. The food was obviously prepared by a competent chef and the presentation was superb. We shared a roasted beet salad and it was filled with fresh arugula and delicious beets, and strawberries and goat cheese. We devoured it. We had a great time! Service was excellent and the food did not disappoint. We had the Baja shrimp and braised short rib. Both were great. The brioche bread pudding was amazing!Definitely going back
Had the Cobb salad lunch special and the roasted beet salad. Both were very fresh and delicious. The green chili skillet cornbread was very flavorful.
The evening was perfect. The food and service were outstanding. What we love is that you don’t have loud music playing in the restaurant. When the dining room fills with people, the many conversations, laughter etc. make for a natural rise in the noise level. It’s why we love coming to PCG when we want to have dinner conversations with family and friends. Thanks so much for your awareness of the noise level and your efforts to lower it.
