It was a very nice place and a definite possibility. Nice that all rooms have balcony or little porch to the outside.
My sister and I looked at 6 different places and decided Pine Ridge of Garfield was the best option for my mom. She has now lived here for 4 months and really loves it. We chose this community based on the friendly and welcoming staff, cleanliness and flexible meal options. She (and our whole family) love the activities and parties - especially the horse racing.
[Name removed] was very nice, answered all our questions. The apartments are modern and really nice. Love the Balcony and personal outside space for the residents.
My family, and more importantly, my Mom, is very happy with our choice of Pine Ridge of Garfield. Everyone is very friendly and they quickly addressed any of her concerns. Her apartment is so cute and cozy and she has all she needs, and nothing she doesn't need anymore. She was hospitalized shortly after moving in and that slowed her adjustment, but once she was back and felt settled, she has just become happier and happier. My parents moved from Florida to Pine Ridge of Garfield in May, 2018. They wanted to be closer to family but still live independently and have services that would make everyday life easier. Pine Ridge has really been great for them and has been a relief for me. I am so happy to have their meals provided without the need to grocery shop and cook, or go out to restaurants. My mother moved into Pine Ridge of Garfield back in February 2018. She loves it! All the activities & things to do keeps she busy and focused. The staff is very helpful & friendly, and always there for her needs. The food is great and she loves the variety. She also enjoys the outside activities that are planned by the staff. My mother says that she feels like its her home & that make my siblings & I comfortable knowing that she is in a safe, friendly & happy environment. Many fun activities planned. [The] facility is clean, nicely decorated and well maintained. Maintenance staff is slow to respond to residents requests. Need to get nurse back they fired.
This community was very nice. It has a lovely front porch with rocking chairs to sit and visit with people. It has a lovely outdoor garden out back and the landscaping is done very nicely. The staff was nice and informative on our tour. The community looked clean and well maintained.
