My mom wanted to give up her home for senior living in 2019. She was hoping to move into a place where a friend was living. Sadly that friend passed away soon after she moved. The facility offered activity choices that she could pick and choose what suited her. The staff is warm and caring. Always encouraging her to be a part of the community. I would definitely recommend this place.
Clean, safe, friendly helpful staff, good community feel, friendly residents, and fun activities. The value for the money would be a 5 if the food situation was more consistent and they actually delivered on the additional food options from the menu. Meal options of a daily specials and alternate items off a menu were represented to us as being available when we decided to move to Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby. Everything about Pine Ridge Villas of Shelby has been going great and that is why they get 5 stars.
The rooms are great and the entire place is very clean and well maintained. The food is okay but they are frequently out of things. The Homecare assistance staff team has a lot of turnover. Some of their staff are very good but some are very poor.
I like living here. I've made new friends.
