About Pinecrest Animal Hospital Pinecrest Animal Hospital was founded in the fall of 1953 by Dr. Jerry Fries in Owosso, Michigan. He was a mixed practice veterinarian and was well known in the community for his expertise and willingness to travel where the patient was – including by plane and motorcycle! Along with his family, he maintained the practice until he passed in 1983 and the practice was sold to Dr. Rich Elsesser.

I love Pinecrest. You know they truly care about our pets. Dr. Rangiis is doing surgery on our cat during his lunch so he can get the help he needs. That shows a true love for the community's pets and their owners. Thank you, Dr. Rangiyour a true blessing.

They have been our vet for many years.our scooby was with them for 8 years. He started acting funny and everytime he was got in asap.unfoutionaly our baby had a brain tumor and he was rushed to dr kenny.and let me tell you hos staff was outside waiting for our baby.We had to put him to sleep but this was the humain way.again thank you to dr kenny and all the staff...we love you guys

PINECREST Animal hospital has been my vet for many years. I wouldn’t trust any other vet with my animals. If I have an emergency and they are so booked, they will still find time to see my dog. A couple months ago my pug had to have a nasal resection and the tech that was taking care of her, carried her all day in his sweatshirt to make her feel safe.

Love the atmosphere! I’ve been bringing my dog here since he was a pup! They’ve always been super informative and amazing with him no matter which vet/vet tech I get for that day!! Actions speak louder than words and their actions are the best!

We have taken 3 pets over the years to Pinecrest. They have always been quick and efficient and have been very helpful in sneaking us in in an emergency. They love your pet like theirs, Dr. K seems real excited to so our American Bulldog Pittie, and vice versa. I know we are in good hands, although they are more expensive than other vets, you truly get what you pay for, the quality of care is worth every penny to know my animals are well taken care of.
