It works great to replace an old Jandy RayVac. It works great to replace an old Jandy RayVac. Assembly was a little bit not easy. I had to watch several videos on YouTube.
Awesome, see my tip love the 360. cut the scrubby portion off a scrounge and use two quick slip fasteners to fasten to the tail, replacing the tail sponge, which wears out quickly. This will last a long time. You don't want to spend the rest of your life going through cheap tail sponges!
Great job vacuuming the bottom, but does not clean walls of algae. I bought this one to replace one that had been in my pool for years after replacing a discontinued pressure side pool cleaner provided with the original pool 25 years ago. Since my pool was plumbed with a separate line for a pressure side cleaner, I chose to stay with that system rather than purchase a robot with an electrical line back to its controller. It works Never called tech support, connected to existing connection. I do use a booster pump.
Works Great Our new Polaris works wonderfully. We operate it with our stand alone pump. It takes a little longer the clean our pool compared to our old Polaris. But it does a great job. The weighted tail makes all the difference.
Strong cleaner does all the dirty work! Powerful cleaner, easy to assemble and get running. Price was way down from its normal price made it a no-brainer to purchase. Ordered on a Thursday and was told would arrive on Wednesday but it was here four days early on Saturday. Picks up all kinds of debris including sand. So far it is an outstanding pool vacuum.
